Agreement

The applicant hereby warrants and represent that:

1. The applicant has read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions in its entirety;
2. The applicant has the necessary legal capacity, right and authority to agree to access this website and use the Services herein;

The National Trades Union Congress (“NTUC”), its directors, employees and/or its affiliated unions, associations and/or related organisations and/or contractors or subcontractors engaged (as the case may be) involved in the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 Organising Committee (the “Organisers”) reserve the right to amend, vary, modify, suspend, or discontinue any of these Terms & Conditions, or any portion of this page, without prior notice or liability. The applicants continued use of this webpage shall constitute the applicant’s unequivocal acknowledgment and acceptance of the Terms & Conditions herein.

Personal Data

1. The applicant agrees to allow the Organisers, to collect, use, and disclose their personal data provided in the application form. The collected personal data may be used for the purposes of: (i) facilitating the electronic balloting process; (ii) notifying the successful applicant; (iii) record keeping; (iv) sending authorised notifications / updates by the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 Organising Committee; (v) facilitating the distribution of tickets; and (vi) any other purposes related to the above.
2. By attending or participating in the NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations, the applicant consents to the use of the applicant’s photograph, voice, likeness, and image in any broadcast of this event and in subsequent productions drawn from video or audio recordings of this event. the photographs and recordings may be published or broadcast in official NTUC publications and in publicity materials, including NTUC websites and social media.
3. All recordings, articles, quotes, photographs, films, audio or video and/or any reproductions of the same in any form, are the property of NTUC. It is the responsibility of event participants to remove themselves from group and candid shots/recordings that the photographers /videographers intend to capture, if they do not wish to have their photos/audio-visual recordings taken at the event.
4. The information the applicant provide in this Application Form will enable NTUC and its authorised agent to:
   1. register and contact the applicant about the applicant attendance at the event;
   2. carry out administrative and planning activities for the event;
   3. facilitate the applicant requirements in relation to the event;
   4. allow the compilation and analysis of statistics relevant to the event;
   5. register and contact the applicant about the applicant attendance at the event;
   6. promote relevant NTUC offerings such as the Starter and/or Union Membership and future activities and volunteering opportunities;
      1. (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Purposes”).
5. By submitting this Application Form, The applicant:
   1. consent to NTUC and its authorised agent, collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing the applicant personal data for the Purposes as described above;
   2. represent and warrant that the applicant are the user and/or subscriber of the telephone number(s) provided by the applicant in this Application Form; and
   3. acknowledge that the applicant have read and understood the above provisions.

Event Registration Policy

1. The applicant agrees and understands that the decision regarding the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 (3 or 9 August 2024) wherein the successful applicants shall receive at the end of the ballot is based on the sole discretion of the Organisers.
2. Each application is for a pair of tickets to the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024.
3. Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for the tickets.
4. Each applicant (identified via the NRIC submitted) will only be entitled to one ballot chance.
5. Upon the closure of the application window on 8 July 2024, 12:00pm (GMT+8), all valid applications will go through an electronic-balloting system.
6. Tickets are not allocated based on first-come-first-served basis.
7. The Organisers reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time at its sole and absolute discretion without notice. These terms and conditions and all subsequent variations shall be subject to and governed by the laws of Singapore.

Indemnification

1. The applicant agrees to indemnify and keep the Organisers (the “Indemnified Parties”) fully indemnified against all loss, damage, claims, and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties arising out of and/or in connection with:
   1. The applicant’s use of this page.
   2. The applicant’s breach of any of the terms and conditions of this page.
   3. The applicant’s violation of any rights of any person/entity.
   4. The applicant’s breach of any legal requirements.
   5. The applicant’s registration for, attendance at, or the postponement or cancellation of the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024.
2. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Organisers (the “Indemnified Parties”) shall not be liable for any claim, damage, or loss of any kind or nature caused and howsoever arising as a result of (including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or otherwise in connection with the registration for, attendance at, postponement or cancellation of the event(s).
3. By accessing this page and/or registering for the NTUC X NDP Bay Celebrations 2024, The applicant agrees to release the Organisers from any liability whatsoever.
